How to connect Amazon S3

You need a Name, an Access Key ID, and a Secret Access Key. Create IAM keys with S3 permissions — never use the root password. You can save more than one AWS account.

You can save multiple named Amazon S3 accounts. Credentials stay in workspace secret storage and are never shown after save.

   Open AWS Console

   Sign in, click your profile name in the top right, then choose Security credentials.

   Create an access key

   Under Access keys, choose Create access key. Prefer a dedicated IAM user with S3 permissions.

   Copy both values

   Copy the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key immediately. The secret is not shown again.

   Paste into EntityStacks and save

   Give the connection a name, choose a region, paste Key and Secret Key, then save. You can add another AWS account with the same or different keys.
