How to connect IBM Cloud Object Storage

You need a Name, HMAC Key, Secret, and the regional S3 endpoint.

You can save multiple named IBM Cloud Object Storage accounts. Credentials stay in workspace secret storage and are never shown after save.

Open IBM Cloud
Open your Object Storage instance.

Create HMAC credentials
Under Service Credentials, create credentials with HMAC keys enabled. Copy Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.

Copy the endpoint
From Endpoints, copy the public S3 endpoint for your location.

Paste into EntityStacks and save
Enter Name, Endpoint, Key, and Secret Key, then save.

Create HMAC credentials on the IBM COS instance and copy the public endpoint for your region.
